Ring in the New Year with a romantic stay at the Spring Lake Inn featuring a gorgeous gift of cultured pearls, a bottle of fine champagne and fresh strawberries to share.

Mark the start of 2009 in an unforgettable fashion with a luxurious night of romance at one of the most charming inns in the Victorian village of Spring Lake, NJ.

Indulge in a $1000 Pearl New Year package to treat that special someone to a timelessly elegant gift and priceless memories. Longtime hoteliers Andy and Barbara Seaman created this dreamy splurge for couples who want to mark the magic of the New Year in an extra-special manner.

The Pearl New Year Package includes:

  • a pearl necklace, beautifully gift-wrapped and strategically placed for maximum surprise
  • a bottle of champagne to toast the New Year
  • a selection of seasonal fresh strawberries to nibble

Room rates, ranging from $149 to $299, are not included in the package. A full and sumptuous gourmet breakfast is included with all rooms. From peaches and cream french toast to a tomatoes, basil and fresh mozzarella omelette, your morning will start right with one of the Spring Lake Inn's breakfast specialties accompanied by freshly brewed gourmet coffee and a selection of rich pastries and fruits.

Seaman says the most popular rooms for a night of romance are the Moonbeam, a seductively charming haven with exposed beams and a telescope for star-gazing, and the Inn's gem, the Tower, a two-room suite hideaway that gives new meaning to the phrase, love nest.

The Moonbeam features a gas fireplace, a sofa for lounging and a refrigerator to keep the champagne chilled to the perfect temperature. The Tower View is utter indulgence with its gas fireplace and a chandelier-lit queen-size sleigh bed set off from a plush sitting room.

Both elegantly appointed rooms have ocean views.

Billed as "the European Mansion by the Sea," the Spring Lake Inn has 16 comfortable rooms, a large and sunny dining area, a cozy sitting room with a large-screen TV, board games, movies and books. Afternoon tea is accompanied by sweet and savory homemade treats.

Built circa 1888, the inn is true to its roots as a carriage house and hotel for 19th century travelers. The Spring Lake Inn has been lovingly restored, retaining all of its historic charm but updated with every modern amenity. The Seamans, with their years of experience with Westin hotels and the Waldorf Astoria, know the devil is in the detail and make sure guests get the experience they expect.

For romantic strolls, the inn at 104 Salem Avenue is located a mere two blocks from the pristine private and completely commercial-free Spring Lake shore and for fine dining, the inn is minutes from fine Italian at Vivere in the Grand Victorian or the elegant continental dining at The Breakers on the Ocean.
